Academy

In 2024, Jackson created the SVCF European Cycling Academy to help provide aspiring North American female cyclists with the tools they need to succeed in the European peloton.
The Academy provides skills clinics to learn cornering, descending, peloton navigation etc., and incorporates extensive kermesse racing to give riders the opportunity to practice the skills learned. The Academy also provides nutritional guidance to instill the importance of proper fueling at an early stage in the rider’s careers.

“I am delighted to be able to offer this program to up and coming riders” Jackson said. “Over the past 20 years we have identified and helped to develop numerous talented female riders. A common theme with these riders is that they get to Europe and many of them don’t have the skills to navigate the European peloton. The roads in North America are wide, the peloton small, and riders aren’t challenged to develop their cycling skills. Our goal with the SVCF European Academy is to provide developing riders with the skills they need early in their careers, so they are prepared and confident for the challenges of racing in Europe”.
